I diddn't put a poll up straght away because I was hoping to get feed back as to what hosts are doing better than others.

I'm planning to leave this thread open for atleast a month before I start a poll, hopefully there should be afew good choices by then.

I believe that's temporary, because fall of Fsonic and Fserve too many uploaders start to upload on Ffactory...we will see in the future.

I liked hotfile untill they deleted my 1 year membership 3 months in to it with no warning and no explanation, I was very pissed off

i think that rapidshare might be a good one i have noticed that most of the forums i've been on most of the uploaders have been using them for main links and mirror links aswell, well thats my pennys worth

UL is banning certain countries from signing up.
Rapidshare works for me as a downloader.

after fileserve has deleted my account , i started 2 use 10 upload , i don know much about it till now ,i choose it coz there is no heavy traffic on it , and i didnt meet any 1 complained . just try and see.
if any 1 has any comment about 10 upload , it ll b appreciated 2 tell.

I still have an active Fileserve account for downloading.....just not many postings using FS. Finding an FS posting is a treat...they are still very fast.

I have a depositfiles paid account.......this site is pretty good offering of DF downloads.....particularily in the TV section. Movies not so much DF.....which bums me out.

Bayfiles and Filefactrory and Bitshare are great for free downloads. Depositfiles is also pretty good. I really like bayfiles for free downloads because the download speeds are reasonably fast and the wait between downloads is minimal. Important when downloading a multi-part file.

As an example. Somebody posted a movie with 5 Rapidshare links. No mirrors. So i start downloading. SLOWWWWW. 3 hours per file, couple hours wait time. By the time I get to file #4, the files were deleted and left with my finger up the ass. Another time I was downloading a 2 file movie on Rapidshare. Took 10 hours to download the 2 stupid files......BUT......one of the files ended corrupt. ...not unusual for RS uploads....went to redownload the next day and files were deleted. Waste of good bandwidth I say. Almost wanted to puke.

Rapidshare sucks as a free user....way too slow. They cancelled my account abouit 2 years ago when they were going thru their changes and customer service refused to honour the rest of my mebership saying I used up my "credits" even though when I signed up (or should I say renewed, that's how loyal I was to RS) the terms were for 12 months unlimited. Freaking crooks.

Hotfile deleted a membership I had about a year ago after a few months....saying I downloaded to much. They are on my blacklist/shitlist.

I think it's very dangereuse that so many people are jumping on the rapidshare bandwagon. There are websites out there that are almost exclusively RS.....might as well change the name of the websites to 'Rapidshare Lackies'. I think this gonna come back and bite some people in the ass down the road a bit.
